Xin Kai Tan set up a London-based office for ST Engineering Ventures.
Xin Kai Tan has left ST Engineering Ventures, the corporate VC arm of Singapore Technologies Engineering, a global technology, defence and engineering group.
Tan was based in London, UK, for the CVC unit, which invests in seed, early-stage and later-stage companies in consumer, IT, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing and robotics.
Tan joined the CVC unit as an assistant manager in 2022 and became founder and lead for the CVC’s European investments in 2023. Before joining the CVC he was an engineer at the parent company.
Tan said in a LinkedIn post that he has relocated back to Singapore where he is starting a new position as business development lead at DeepBrain, a ST Engineering AI business unit.
