Daniel Stern has moved from Grupo Kaufmann to its investment arm to explore strategic partnerships in the mobility tech sector.

Daniel Stern has joined Güil Mobility Ventures, the investment arm of Chilean automotive company Grupo Kaufmann, as director of strategic research and partnerships.
In the new role, he will scout investment opportunities in the mobility sector, including AI-native software, robotics, advanced air mobility and autonomous systems.
Stern was innovation and mobility manager at parent Grupo Kaufmann where he spent eight years leading initiatives to integrate technologies commercially.
Stern was also managing partner at Latam mobility and transportation VC fund Blue Mobility Ventures before joining Güil Mobility Ventures.
Founded in 2019, Güil Mobility Ventures makes cross-border investments in early-stage mobility tech startups. Recent investments include semi-autonomous excavator developer Flywheel AI, on-demand car service marketplace Cafler and electric vehicle health checks and repairs platform Repairwise.
