Abhishek Shukla has been promoted from partner of enterprise, infrastructure and deep tech investments to managing director at Prosperity7 Ventures.

Shukla promoted at Prosperity7 Ventures

Abhishek Shukla has been promoted at Prosperity7 Ventures, a $1bn corporate venture capital fund of oil and gas conglomerate Saudi Aramco.

After serving a year as a partner for enterprise, infrastructure and deep tech investments, Shukla will now be the managing director for the venture capital fund.

Before joining Propersity7 Ventures in 2022, Shukla spent three years at information technology corporation Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE) where he was the managing director of global venture investments. He was also the senior managing director at HPE Pathfinder, the corporate investment arm of HPE.

Shukla started out in corporate venturing at General Electric, where he worked for two years holding positions such as director of software investments and managing director and co-head of software investments.

Founded in 2019, Propersity7 Ventures invests in a range of sectors including robotics, food technology and geo-energy industries. The firm has 38 startups in its portfolio and has invested in more than 49 companies including Cowbell, Hong Jing Drive and Acceldata.
