Nofar Schnider cofounded and manages NuVC, a community of VC professionals in Israel.

Nofar Schnider has joined Yeda, the technology transfer company of the Weizmann Institute of Science, as director of business development for the exact sciences.

Schnider was previously a principal at StageOne Ventures, a VC investor in Israeli early-stage startups. At StageOne Ventures, she invested in Frontitude, an Israeli software developer, Entro Security and Backslash Security.

She started her career as a software engineer and led engineering teams at the Israeli Military Intelligence and for Nokia.

Yeda helps to commercialise research from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Its portfolio covers a range of sciences, including agriculture and plant genetics, nanotechnology, solar energy, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. It has 55 spinouts in its portfolio.
