Nofar Schnider cofounded and manages NuVC, a community of VC professionals in Israel.

Nofar Schnider has joined Yeda, the technology transfer company of the Weizmann Institute of Science, as director of business development.

Schnider was previously a principal at StageOne Ventures, a VC investor in Israeli early-stage startups. She was also an investor in Frontitude, an Israeli software developer.

She started her career as a software engineer for the Israeli Military Intelligence and for Nokia.

Yeda helps to commercialise research from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Its portfolio covers a range of sciences, including agriculture and plant genetics, nanotechnology, solar energy, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. It has 55 spinouts in its portfolio.
