Oliver Schmäschke will head the German telecoms company's investment arm T.Capital.

Oliver Schmäschke has taken over as managing director of T.Capital, Deutsche Telekom’s venture arm, after having served as COO.
T.Capital was founded in 2023 and has already backed over 40 startups across Europe, North America and Israel.
Schmäschke was also a founding member of DTCP – formerly known as Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners, which is the corporate’s growth and infrastructure investment arm – starting as chief of staff before becoming managing director for portfolio development and partnerships, and most recently as COO since early 2023.
Its portfolio includes companies like AI technology developer Perplexity, Internet of Things-based logistics platform provider Roambee, project management software provider Sitetracker and blockchain payment platform provider Celo.
Prior to DTCP, he worked as an in-house consultant at Deutsche Telekom, and had a brief stint as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group.
