Zainab Qasim has joined the Scottish university's investment fund in a portfolio development role.

Zainab Qasim has joined Old College Capital, the University of Edinburgh’s in-house investment fund, as portfolio and platform manager.

Qasim previously worked at Funders In Good, a faith-based venture philanthropy fund, which provides grants to UK nonprofits. She managed the community of philanthropists for the fund.

Before that, she was an investment analyst at Seraphim Space, a venture fund for global space tech startups.

Old College Capital invests in spinouts and early-stage startups associated with the University of Edinburgh. It has a portfolio of more than 100 companies.
