Robert Prostko has left Allegion Ventures, the corporate venture fund of security technology firm Allegion.
Prostko was the managing director of the venture fund. The reason for his departure is unclear. President of Allegion Ventures, Rob Martens, will lead the unit, said a spokesperson.
Allegion Ventures invests in early-stage startups in the areas of building analytics, IoT and data security, and property management. Its investments include Ambient.ai, an AI-powered physical security software, and Asylon, an AI-driven robotic security technology.
Prostko was an associate at two law firms before he joined Allegion in 2015 in various counsel roles. He became managing director of the venture fund in 2018.
