After a year working as an associate at the logistics management company’s CVC unit, Brandon Proetto is now a director.

Brandon Proetto has been promoted to director at Holman Growth Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of US-headquartered vehicle fleet management firm Holman.

Launched in 2019, Holman Growth Ventures invests in automotive technology startups, covering areas related to electrification, autonomous vehicles, supply chain and AI.

The unit backed funds run by VC firms Plug and Play and FM Capital and has 14 active portfolio companies including logistics software platform Zuum, EV charger installation service Treehouse and Rivian, an electric vehicle manufacturer. It achieved an exit when used vehicle marketplace Vroom listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market in 2020.

Proetto joined Holman Growth Ventures in 2023 as an associate and focuses on energy and mobility sectors. Previously, he held a two-year stint as an investment banking associate at Bank of America, targeting similar areas.
