Price takes on VC investor role at building services group Umdasch

Ben Price will lead investments to advance the Austrian group's construction, industrial solutions and store outfitting businesses.

Ben Price has become director of strategic growth for North America at Austrian, family-owned company Umdasch Group, a provider of scaffolding, industrial solutions and shopfitting services.

Price will focus on acquisitions, investments and partnership opportunities for the company.

Price was an investment director at Orbia Ventures, the corporate VC arm of specialty products maker Orbia. Before that, he was ventures manager at French construction company Saint Gobain.
