After spending two years as an investment associate at Kairos, Topher Price will now serve as senior associate at MS&AD Ventures.
Topher Price has joined MS&AD Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Japan-based insurance company MS&AD Insurance Group.
Price will serve as the firm’s senior associate. Before joining MS&AD Ventures, he spent two years at Kairos, a US venture studio where he was an investment associate and a member of the investment team.
A venture capital expert, Price was the ecosystem development manager for a year at Launch Tennessee, a US venture fund. For two years he was at legal services firm Beacon Group, where he was the senior consultant.
Founded in 2018, MS&AD Ventures invests in seed to later-stage startups focusing on IT, AI, cybersecurity and insurance technology across Japan. The unit has 84 companies in its portfolio and has invested in 132 startups including Mulberri, Omega Insurance and Poko.
