Ryan Piela has left his position as executive director of The Estée Lauder Companies’ investment arm, New Incubation Ventures.

Piela was part of the founding team that helped launch New Incubation Ventures. He spent nearly five years in this role where he helped build and execute on the early-stage investment and incubation strategy of the unit.

Prior to this, Piela worked at VC firm XRC Ventures as associate director, corporate innovation.

New Incubation Ventures partners with founders and entrepreneurs to create, fund and support beauty brands and business models shaping the future of the beauty sector. The corporate venturing unit also builds a pipeline of diversified brands for the Estée Lauder Companies portfolio.

Piela did not disclose his next move.
