Soo Jin Park has joined the US investment bank Morgan Stanley as an executive director in the strategic investments team.

This comes after more than four years working for the US tech company Cisco’s CVC unit, Cisco Investments.

During his time there he oversaw a number of investments, including in the cybersecurity startups SGNL, which makes an identity management system, and AppOmni, a security platform that protects SaaS applications from data breaches.

He drew on his investment banking background to lead Cisco’s acquisitions of seven companies, including Robust Intelligence, an AI security platform provider, and Oort, a cloud service provider which Cisco had previously invested in.

During his time at Cisco Investments, Park was recognised by GCV as one of the 2024 Rising Stars, a list of 50 professionals rising fast in corporate venturing.
