His new role will involve Møller investing in sustainable and resource-efficient technology developers on behalf of the unit.

Before joining ABB, Møller spent over five years at engineering equipment producer Danfoss acting as head of technology investments and acquisitions as well as a senior director.

ABB runs a corporate venturing unit dubbed ABB Technology Ventures, led by Kurt Kaltenegger. Malin Carlström was head of ventures at ABB Electrification until her departure in August last year.

“[ABB’s] investment pace and ambitions are high,” Møller said on LinkedIn. “The team just closed the second investment this year in Direct Energy Partners – exciting times ahead.”

“I would also like to thank the team at Danfoss. It has been a fantastic journey over the last five and a half years, working together with amazing people and being part of driving the Green Transition while doubling the business in size to more than €10bn in 2022.”
