David Lane spent 17 yearss at auto suppliers before moving to WEX, where he will focus on European mobility business.

David Lane has left his position as venture capital lead at BorgWarner to join WEX, a business services company, as head of strategy and planning for Europe mobility business.
Lane led corporate strategy and venture capital activities for the Europe, Middle East and Asia regions at BorgWarner, a US automotive and e-mobility supplier, for the past three years.
Before that he spent more than nine years at car parts maker Delphi in various roles including engineer and product line specialist.
Wex provides operational services to fleet mobility enterprises, including employee benefits and business payments. Its CVC unit, WEX Venture Capital, invests in early-stage electric mobility startups focused on fleet electrification, EV charging and energy management.
