Karim Menn has left Commerzbank's CVC unit after nearly five years to join a German B2B technology VC firm Wunderland Capital.

Karim Menn has left Neosfer, a VC and innovation unit that is part of the German bank Commerzbank.
His new role is as a principal with Wunderland Capital, a German VC firm founded last year. It targets B2B technology startups in Europe.
Menn joined Neosfer in 2020 as a manager of strategy and investments, rising to senior manager in 2022, the position he held until leaving.
Neosfer’s investment remit covers fintech, B2B SaaS and climate tech startups. Investments Menn oversaw include Neosfer’s participation in the $1.4m seed funding round for Beatvest, which makes an app that teaches users about investment. He also managed Neosfer’s leading of the $7.6m seed round for Terra One, a battery storage system developer. Following the investment, Menn sat as a board observer at Terra One.
Before joining Neosfer, he held analyst and consultant roles at BearingPoint, a Dutch management and technology consulting firm. He joined in 2018 after a number of consulting internships, including ones at BCG and KPMG. While working as a consultant at BearingPoint he specialised in digital strategy and venture.
