Austin Hwang is the first external hire at ADVentures.

Austin Hwang has left Honda Xcelerator Ventures, the corporate VC arm of Honda Motor, to join the new investment arm of Analog Devices, a US chipmaker.
Hwang is the first external hire at ADVentures, which was set up in June 2025 to invest in early-stage startups in advanced systems, robotics, sensing, clean energy and AI. The unit is headed by Kimberly Blakemore, who was director of climate tech strategy for the parent.
Hwang worked as a senior principal at Honda Xcelerator Ventures for nearly three years where he did early stage investments and deal sourcing.
Hwang cofounded a company called LearningPal, which was acquired by Ripcord, a records management company, in 2022.
Hwang was a GCV Rising Star in 2025.
