Hirschberger to lead ventures at German media company ProSiebenSat.1

Florian Hirschberger has worked at the German mass media company's growth stage investment division since 2014.

Florian Hirschberger has become CEO of ProSiebenSat.1’s commerce and ventures division, responsible for the German media group’s entire investment business.

He takes over from Tim Rhoenisch, who led the investment group since July 2024.

Hirschberger will remain managing director of SevenGrowth, one of ProSiebenSat.1’s investment vehicles that takes minority equity positions in growth-stage startups and makes acquisitions.

In addition to the growth-stage investment division, ProSiebenSat does media-for-equity investments in consumer and ecommerce startups through its SevenVentures unit.
