Alexa Fedyukova, formerly vice-president of corporate development and ventures for cybersecurity software provider SentinelOne, has left to take on a corporate development role at identity authentication software producer Okta.

SentinelOne hired Fedyukova as senior corporate development director at the end of 2020, following over a decade in tech M&A for UK bank Barclays. She was promoted to VP of corporate development and ventures just over a year later.

Fedyukova’s time at SentinelOne included the launch of venture unit S Ventures. Her investments in startups included Torq, a no-code automation platform that closed funding at a $1.2bn valuation last month, and AI model developer Scale AI, valued at $29bn as of June 2025.

“It’s been an amazing experience to navigate the cyber market, understand the competitive dynamics and help scale SentinelOne from $100m ARR to over $1bn: from a private company when I joined in 2020 through the IPO and hyper-growth,” she said in a LinkedIn post announcing the move.

Fedyukova has not revealed whether her position at Okta, which backs early-stage companies through its Okta Ventures unit, will involve direct investments in startups.
