Noah Chaikof is seeking to invest in startups building in AI, ecommerce and marketplaces in North America.
Noah Chaikof has joined eBay Ventures, the investment arm of ecommerce platform eBay, as an investor. He will be leading the unit’s investments in North America.
Chaikof will partner with companies “building in AI, enthusiast ecommerce, marketplaces and beyond”, according to the LinkedIn post announcing his move.
Chaikof was at VC firm First Ascent Ventures for six and a half years in various roles, the most recent being vice-president where he led investment sourcing and spearheaded due diligence on new investments.
Founded in 2022, eBay Ventures focuses on early-stage investments in marketplaces, ecommerce enablers and the future of commerce sectors. The unit has made 20 investments since its founding and had three exits.
