Justin Cheng, former vice-president of growth strategy for broadcaster and entertainment company NBCUniversal Media, has joined adtech provider PubMatic in a corporate development role focusing on strategic investments and M&A.

Cheng will look at investments and M&A to accelerate growth in the digital media and advertising sectors, he said in a LinkedIn post.

US-headquartered PubMatic develops online advertising software and strategies for the digital publishing and advertising industry.

Cheng worked for four years at NBCUniversal Media. Before that, he was VP of corporate development and ventures at US radio and advertising group iHeartMedia, following a stint at omnichannel marketing software provider Mediaocean.
