Ceili Cascarano will lead global investments and acquisitions.

Ceili Cascarano has taken a position as head of global ventures at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, a medical device manufacturer.

Cascarano was senior vice president of growth at Seven Starling, a virtual provider of maternal mental health services for three years. Before that she was vice president of growth strategy at Mindstrong, a virtual mental health platform, and vice president of strategic partnerships at Sanvello Health, a mental health startup.

Cascarano worked at Johnson & Johnson for nine years between 2010 and 2019 in various roles including director of external innovation.

Johnson & Johnson’s corporate venture unit, JJDC, invests in healthcare startups including pharmaceuticals and medical devices. It has more than 100 portfolio companies and has invested more than $3.2bn since 2016.
