Chow will lead investments in enterprise platforms and IoT in her new role as partner and investment director at Telus’s corporate investment unit.

Ming Chow has joined Telus Global Ventures, the corporate VC arm of Canadian technology and services company Telus, as partner and investment director.
Chow will be based in San Francisco and and lead investments in enterprise software startups and internet of things (IoT). She will also serve as a generalist across the unit’s broader investment focus of agtech, connected consumer solutions and digital health.

Chow was previously a managing partner at a climate tech private markets fund.
Founded in 2001, Telus Global Ventures invests from the corporate’s balance sheet, deploying between $150m and $200m every year. The fund invests between $10m and $15m in post-series A startups.
Recent investments include digital health platform operator Naluri, global positioning system developer Swift Navigation and food industry data optimising platform Tastewise.
