After a decade at Air Liquide in various roles, most recently managing director for its CVC unit, Vincent Brillault joined Audacia.

Vincent Brillault

Vincent Brillault has left his managing director role at Aliad, the corporate venturing arm of French industrial gas supplier Air Liquide.

Having joined the parent firm’s Taiwan office as head of business development and strategy for electronics activities in 2011, Brillault eventually took up two more senior roles in China and South Korea.

Brillault moved back to France in 2018 and assumed special project director and group transformation director positions, before joining Aliad as an investment director in early 2021.

He was made managing director later that year, where he focused on energy transition, healthcare and digital transformation for the unit.

In his new job as fund managing partner at private equity firm Audacia, Brillault will help manage its Exergon decarbonisation fund, which backs companies working on new nuclear, hydrogen, energy storage and energy efficiency.

“I will leverage my experience in the industrial gas world and climate tech venture capital to advance the mission of decarbonisation,” Brillault said on LinkedIn.
