Arindam Bhattacharya has left his role as managing director of SLB Ventures, the corporate venture arm of oilfield services company Schlumberger, doing business as SLB.

Bhattacharya spent more than 30 years at SLB in a variety of roles, from field engineer to project manager in several South American countries.

In 2019 he became vice president of strategy, marketing and technology based in Houston, Texas. A year later he became managing director of SLB Ventures, which invests in industrial decarbonisation, renewables and energy efficiency technologies.

He is board member of several portfolio companies including GHGSat, EnerVenue, Energy Source Minerals (ESM) and Celluforce. Previous board member at Nauticus Robotics (KITT), BISN, SeekOps and Molyworks.

He did not reveal his next steps in a LinkedIn post announcing his departure.
