Former Experian Ventures investment director Chan Yip Pang has joined Vertex Ventures as an executive director.

Chan Yip Pang has left his role as investment director and APAC lead at Experian Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of consumer credit reporting conglomerate Experian.

Pang has joined Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, a vehicle for Singaporean state-backed Temasek Holdings, as an executive director for investments and will continue to be based in Singapore.

Pang had been an investment director a Experian Ventures since 2018 and also worked on mergers and acquisitions. During his stint at the unit, he held board positions at multiple portfolio companies.

Experian Ventures invests mainly in IT services developers. The unit’s portfolio includes real estate rental service Jetty and credit report provider Nav Technologies.
