The data storage software provider has been bought by PacketFabric for an undisclosed amount, three years after a Cisco-led series A round.

Networking technology provider Cisco exited US-based storage and data mobility technology developer RStor yesterday in an acquisition of undisclosed size by cloud connectivity technology producer PacketFabric.

RStor provides software which helps businesses manage and control data as they look to move from on-premises storage to hybrid and multi-cloud systems.

Cisco led a $45m series A round for the company announced when it emerged from stealth in 2018, participating through its Cisco Investments subsidiary.
