Blue Planet Software has participated in a $40m series C round for mobile gaming product developer N3twork, which had secured $12m in a GV-backed round six years ago.

US-based mobile game technology developer N3twork completed a $40m series C round backed by video game publisher Blue Planet Software yesterday.

Griffin Gaming Partners, Galaxy Digital Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Korea Investment Partners, Table and Ocean Road also contributed to the round.

N3twork has developed a range of products focusing on mobile gaming, including a social network for gamers and publishers, an automated mobile user acquisition service and an app distribution scheme.
