Luno Expeditions has emerged from stealth and will target early-stage Web3 technology developers, investing from parent company Digital Currency Group’s balance sheet.

UK-based digital assets services provider Luno unveiled a corporate venturing unit on Wednesday to invest in crypto and financial technology, effectively taking over parent company Digital Currency Group (DCG)’s seed-stage investment activity.

Luno Expeditions takes part in seed and pre-seed rounds for financial technology and cryptocurrency technology developers. It has so far operated in stealth, and said it has already made more than 20 investments.
