Juan Moreno has joined Greek building materials company Titan Group as investment and business development manager.
Moreno was an investor at Cemex Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Cemex, a construction materials supplier. The unit was launched in 2017 and invests in startups in sustainable construction materials. During Moreno’s tenure, it backed startups including Terra CO2 Technologies, which makes low carbon alternatives to cement, and soil connect, an online marketplace for soil in the construction industry.
While there, he was also CEO for Linkx Global between 2018 and 2020, a Spanish company making cloud-based trucking logistics software. Linkx Global approached Cemex Ventures at an early stage and the venture unit helped incubate its product in Cemex.
Before Cemex Ventures, Moreno was a consultant with BCG, specialising in the energy and industrial goods sectors.
