Intel Capital was among the investors bringing the fabless semiconductor producer’s total funding to over $350m and its valuation above $2.5bn.

US-based chip designer and producer SiFive secured $175m on Wednesday in a series F round featuring semiconductor manufacturer Intel’s corporate venturing unit, Intel Capital, at a valuation of over $2.5bn.

Imvestment manager Coatue Management led the round, which was also backed by fellow existing investors including private equity firm Sutter Hill Ventures, taking the company’s total funding to over $350m.
