Lauren Illovsky has taken up a talent partner role at Alphabet’s CapitalG subsidiary following nearly two years in the same position at sister fund Gradient Ventures.

Lauren Illovsky has left Gradient Ventures to join US-headquartered internet and technology conglomerate Alphabet’s growth equity unit, CapitalG, as talent partner.

Gradient Ventures, the artificial intelligence-focused investment fund formed by Alphabet subsidiary Google, hired Illovsky in January 2020 as a talent partner after a three-year stint as director of talent at venture capital firm Accel.
