Eba leaves founding partner position to take on a CFO role.

Imran Eba has left his role as partner at Action Potential Venture Capital, the corporate VC arm of biopharmaceutical company GSK, to take on the role of chief financial officer at Alpheus Medical, a US-based oncology therapy technology developer.

Eba was the founding partner of APVC. The unit is known for its investments in the medicine technology sector with a focus on bioelectronic medicines. It recently participated in a series B funding round for Alpheus Medical.

In a LinkedIn post announcing his move, Eba stated, “I first co-led the investment in Alpheus in 2020, and since then, I’ve been consistently impressed by Vijay Agarwal, the team, and the mission — reimagining the way we treat glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive and complex brain cancers. With a new round of funding closed and meaningful work ahead, the opportunity to join full-time felt both timely and important.”

Eba served as a board member for Alpheus Medical between December 2020 to May 2025. Prior to joining Action Potential, Eba spent over eight years at GSK in various business development roles.
