Bitget’s Asia-focused BitGet Web3 Fund has been equipped with $100m while Hype has received $10m in a series A round featuring Bloomberg.

Singapore-based crypto derivatives exchange platform Bitget has formed Bitget Web3 Fund, equipped with an initial capital of $100m. The fund will target Web3-focused projects and funds, especially those based in Asia.
Chinese insurance provider China Pacific Insurance Company has launched two cryptocurrency-themed funds, having joined forces with blockchain investment firm Waterdrip Capital. Pacific Waterdrip Digital Asset Fund I will invest in early-stage blockchain projects starting at seed rounds while Fund II will concentrate on digital assets with proof-of-stake tokens.

Hype Kits, the US-based content creator-focused landing page platform formerly known as Pico, has raised $10m in series A funding from investors including Bloomberg Beta, an investment arm of media company Bloomberg. King River Capital led the round, which included Bullpen Capital, Precursor Ventures, Tapestry VC and Sterling Road, taking the company’s total fuding to $20m.
