Software company Hashgraph has set up a corporate venture fund to invest in Web3 startups.
Investment unit Hashgraph Ventures Manager will manage the $100m Hashgraph Venture Fund-I out of the Abu Dhabi Global Market, a financial centre based in United Arab Emirates’s capital. The financial centre regulates the trading of digital assets and is a popular jurisdiction for crypto companies.
The fund will invest in strategic investments in deep tech companies focused on AI, internet-of-things, blockchain, robotics and quantum computing, according to media site Finextra.
The Hashgraph Group operates several government-backed venture studios in countries including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, India and Morocco.
