Hasenjaeger was a startup scout and investor at Viega New Ventures, the investment arm of the 125-year old, family-owned manufacturer.

Tobias Hasenjäger has left Viega New Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of the German building services component manufacturer.

Hasenjäger worked at the CVC arm for two-and-half years, most recently as a senior manager. The venturing unit invests in early-stage startups in the proptech and contech sectors.

Before that he was an investor at VNG Innovation, the investment arm of German natural gas pipeline operator VNG. He also worked as an investment manager at German university Science Park Kassel where he supported university spinouts.

Hasenjäger did not disclose in a LinkedIn post about his departure where he is going to next.
