The founder and CEO of the corporate fund announced his exit to pursue other investment projects in climate tech and sustainability.

Heriberto Diarte reported his departure from the US corporate venture capital fund SE Ventures, a subsidiary of French multinational energy management company Schneider Electric. 

Diarte’s departure will allow him to focus on future investments in climate tech and sustainability. 

As well as launching SE Ventures and overseeing many of the fund’s exits, Diarte held various positions such as a board member for an Australian solar energy company, Clipsal Solar.

SE ventures specialises in startups that are early stage or entering seed rounds. The corporate fund has been responsible for 34 direct investments and three exits. Its investments include US software developer Aquant, a provider of service intelligence and data extraction for service leaders and data teams.
