MS&AD Ventures returned for a round that will help data compliance technology provider Dathena beef up its headcount and research and development activities.
Singapore-based data security product developer Dathena has received $12m in series A funding from investors including MS&AD Ventures, a corporate venturing subsidiary of insurance firm MS&AD Holdings.
Venture capital firm Jungle Ventures led the round, which also featured venture capital firm CerraCap Ventures, VC fund CapHorn and Seeds Capital, a subsidiary of Singaporean business promotion board Enterprise Singapore.
Dathena has created data privacy compliance software that uses artificial intelligence to inspect information held across local data servers and cloud-based repositories.
