Cisco Investments helped internet browser developer Island boost its series B round to $125m while Nufarm led crop protection technology producer Enko's $70m series C.

Fund

Venture capital firm Adit Ventures has agreed to provide an undisclosed amount for Aanika Re, a Bermuda-registered insurance vehicle for US-headquartered food security services group Aanika Biosciences. The fund will use Aanika Biosciences’ microbial tagging technology to help thwart and identify risks in the food and agricultural industries.
