Cloud-based VAT software provider Taxually has acquired LumaTax, a US-based enterprise tax automation platform backed by professional services firm KPMG, for an undisclosed amount. The corporate was part of a $4m round for LumaTax in mid-2021 that increased its overall funding to $11m.

InfoGrid, the UK-based creator of a software platform that uses artificial intelligence to automate building management, secured $90m in series B equity funding and $30m in debt financing from investors including telecommunications and internet group SoftBank’s Vision Fund 2 and real estate services provider JLL, which contributed through corporate venture capital unit JLL Spark. The corporates were joined by Original Capital, Northzone, The Venture Collective, Committed Capital, Pictet and unnamed others.
