Alphabet’s India Digitization Fund helped boost NoBroker’s series E round to $215m while its’s GV unit led Chroma Medicine’s $135m series B.

Decentralised gaming platform The Sandbox acquired Sviper, a Germany-based mobile game developer backed by media company Modern Times Group (MTG), for an undisclosed amount. MTG led a $2.8m series A round in 2019 that took the company’s overall funding to $4.3m.

India Digitization Fund, which is managed by internet technology conglomerate Alphabet’s Google subsidiary, has invested $5m in India-based brokerage-free property listings platform NoBroker, taking its series E round to $215m. Tiger Global Management, Moore Strategic Ventures and General Atlantic all took part in the round’s first tranche in late 2021.
