Digital mental health platform Headspace Health has acquired Shine, a US-based daily motivational text message provider backed by media groups Comcast and New York Times. Comcast’s corporate venturing arm, Comcast Ventures, had led a $5m series A round in 2018, investing alongside New York Times and other investors.
Postal services firm La Poste has acquired Happytal, a French hospital services platform backed by Axa, for an undisclosed amount. The company has secured more than $30m from investors including the insurer’s Axa Venture Partners.
Public markets
Qiniu, a China-based cloud services provider backed by ecommerce firm Alibaba’s Taobao subsidiary and telecoms group Telstra, has cancelled a $100m initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Select Market that was first announced in mid-2021.
