US-based secure token offering packaging portal Deal Box has formed a $125m corporate venturing fund called Deal Box Ventures to back Web3 technology developers. It has already invested undisclosed amounts in supply chain security platform Total Network Services, artificial intelligence product developer Forward Edge-AI and Rypplzz, which is working on digital and physical object connection technology.
M&A
Gamers’ review platform By Gamers For Gamers has bought N4G, a Norway-based gaming media website operator backed by media group Future, for an undisclosed sum. The startup had received an undisclosed amount from the corporate’s Future US subsidiary in 2008.
Immersive entertainment group Cosm has acquired portfolio company C360, a US-based developer of virtual and augmented reality video technology, in a deal of undisclosed size. C360 had raised $3.5m in a series A round featuring aerospace and defence manufacturer Boeing’s HorizonX Ventures unit in 2017, $3.2m from Cosm and investor network Blue Tree Allied Angels in January 2022 and an undisclosed sum from Queen City Angels nine months later.
