Bertelsmann-backed paywall management software provider Zephr is set to be acquired by Zuora in a $44m deal while Meituan co-led a $875m round for EV battery producer Sunwoda.

Third Harmonic Bio, the US-based allergy and inflammatory therapy developer backed by pharmaceutical firm Novartis, has filed to list on the Nasdaq Global Market. The company had closed a $105m series B round in December 2021 and still had $113m cash on hand as of June this year, according to the securities filing. Novartis owns a 9.4% stake having licensed several patents to Third Harmonic.

Subscription management tool provider Zuora has agreed to acquire Zephr, a UK-based media subscription boost software provider backed by media group Bertelsmann, for $44m. The corporate’s BDMI subsidiary had led the company’s $8m round in late 2020.
