US-based venture capital firm Shima Capital has raised $200m for an early-stage crypto fund, having secured limited partners including blockchain game publisher Animoca Brands and cryptocurrency exchange OKex. Republic Capital, Mirana Ventures, Bill Ackman, Andrew Yang and Dragonfly helped fill out the LP roster.
Thailand-based audio and video media group Techsauce has formed an accelerator initiative dubbed Thailand Accelerator in partnership with crowdfunding bond platform PeerPower. It will link entrepreneurs with investors and startup ecosystems.
