Cross River Bank, a US-based financial services company, has set up a corporate venture capital unit after last year raising $100m for its series C round.

Cross River Digital Ventures said it would invest in lending, payments, investing and financial technology. Its first deals include Innovative Assessments, Lev and Finix Payments.

Hillel Olivestone, Cross River’s head of corporate development, said: “These are promising startups that align with Cross River’s mission and values, and we look forward to working with them to grow and expand the fintech ecosystem.”
