Kitty Agarwal, partner at Info Edge Ventures, is one of the 100 leading corporate venturing professionals in our 2025 Powerlist.

A regular on the GCV Powerlist, Kitty Agarwal serves as partner at Info Edge Ventures, the corporate VC arm launched by Indian technology holding company Info Edge and supported by Singaporean sovereign wealth fund Temasek.

The unit was established in 2019 and runs three funds – Info Edge Venture Fund (IEVF), Info Edge Capital and Capital 2B. In February 2025, Info Edge committed an additional $115m to IEVF’s third fund.
Agarwal has been a partner at the CVC since its inception. Prior to that, she served in various capacities at Info Edge, including a year as head of corporate development. During this time, she oversaw investments in companies such as Canvera Digital Technologies, ETechAces, Happily Unmarried (Ustraa) and Meritnation (Applect Learning Systems). Since joining the firm, Agarwal has played an important role in driving the company’s involvement in the Indian startup ecosystem.
Info Edge Ventures is a $370m fund that invests in the early stages of companies from pre-seed to series A. The unit prefers to come in as the first institutional investor, reserving meaningful capital for follow-on investments. Typical cheque sizes range between $300,000 to $5m.
One of its most notable investments was food service platform Zomato, where it invested in multiple rounds and held 18.6% shares at the time of its IPO.
The unit describes itself as being sector agnostic, with a geographic focus on investing in innovative startups in India. During the past six years, the unit has made 150+ investments in early-stage, tech-enabled startups across sectors such as consumer tech, fintech, deep tech, ecommerce and agritech.
The unit currently has 60+ portfolio companies and has seen 19 exits. One of its most notable investments was food service platform Zomato, where it invested in multiple rounds and held 18.6% shares at the time of its IPO. Other notable investments include ecommerce shipping platform Shiprocket and train booking app Ixigo.
In recent months, Info Edge Ventures has invested in online pharmacy Trumeds, AI-powered photo-editing platform Phot.AI, autonomous mobile robotics technology developer Anscer Robotics and AI-powered fashion search engine Shoppin.
