Ørjan Aukland had spent two-and-a-half years as head of corporate M&A and corporate venturing at industrial group Lyse before joining GreenCap last August.

Ørjan Aukland will be promoted to CEO of Norway-based carbon capture technology developer GreenCap Solutions next week.

GreenCap hired Auckland as chief financial officer in August 2021 after two-and-a-half years as head of corporate M&A and corporate venturing at industrial conglomerate Lyse.

Aukland had previously run early-stage corporate venture capital investment fund Lyse Investeringer, taking board seats at Nordvest Fiber, Heimdall Power, Sensar Marine, Blueday Technology and pre-seed incubator Validé Invest II.

The corporate venturing role came after Auckland had been group finance lead for Lyse’s telecommunications business, covering broadband companies including content provider Altibox.
