August Deal Round up: Avatr Technology gets $412m in series B funding

Changan Automobile, Contemporary Amperex Technology and China South Industries were all part of Avatr Technology’s $412m series B round.

Brazilian energy group Companhia Paranaense de Energia (Copel) has formed a R$150m ($30.8m) corporate venturing fund, Startups.com.br has reported. Dubbed Copel Ventures I, the fund will be managed by São Paulo-based impact investment firm Vox Capital, and it will target companies working on renewable and clean energy, ESG, energy-as-a-service, smart cities, and asset and facilities management.
