Yanmar Ventures invests in deep tech startups in agri-, bio, food and climate tech.

Sota Tsutsuki has joined Yanmar Ventures, the investment arm of the Japanese manufacturer of machines for agriculture, energy and industry, as a senior capitalist.

Tsutsuki worked at Japanese petroleum company ENEOS for nearly 14 years where he was most recentlly senior manager of research, investment and development of new business.

He also led an accelerator at ENEOS, which collaborated with startups and built ventures.

Yanmar Ventures invests in early-stage startups in the areas of sustainable food production and clean tech, as well as technologies that save on labour and improve customer experience in sectors such as sport. It aims to co-create ventures with the startups it invests in.
