SoftBank, AOL and Verizon supported a $5m series A round for ActionX in 2013.
ActionX, a US-based mobile commerce platform for acquiring and retargeting customers, has been acquired by media and technology company Xaxis for an undisclosed amount.
In 2013, media conglomerate SoftBank, telecommunications company Verizon’s corporate venturing division Verizon Ventures, and media company AOL’s corporate venturing unit AOL Ventures, backed a $5m series A round for ActionX.
Lerer Ventures, Golden Venture Partners and a range of angel investors also participated in that series A round.
